HongXin is a unique office space that embraces Chinese culture in a natural and modern way. The young leader who owns the office wanted to integrate Chinese culture into the design while maintaining an international aesthetic. To achieve this, the designer used simple white and gray marble, along with rice gray tones, to create a sense of simplicity and purity.
The office features mahogany furniture that adds a touch of history and perfectly complements the Tai Chi-inspired design. The combination of rigidity and softness in the furniture reflects the duality of Chinese culture and adds a sense of depth and storytelling to the space.
To create a cultural bridge, a customized landscape painting is placed at the entrance, silently conveying the company's philosophy of honesty and faith. The logo above the front desk is displayed in a seal-like manner, further emphasizing the fusion of traditional and modern elements.
The office space is divided into different areas, with the layout resembling freely staggered small boats on a river. The design allows for a functional and efficient workspace that can accommodate up to seven people. The use of Chinese landscape elements and modern techniques creates a relaxed and lively atmosphere, promoting both functionality and appreciation.
The HongXin office design project started in January 2017 and was completed in August 2017 in Shanghai. Throughout the design process, the challenge was to create a space that reflects the owner's appreciation for Oriental culture and evokes emotional resonance and poetic thoughts. The result is a harmonious and deep office space that embodies the spirit of the enterprise.
HongXin was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2019 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative approach. This prestigious award recognizes designs that meet professional and industrial requirements while contributing to a better world.
